The O'Shaughnessy hooks used are chemically-sharpened

Delicious morsels tied superbly on chemically sharpened
5/0 hooks in specific patterns to encourage a feeding

sometimes referred, is a very important part of the food
chain for Snapper and Kingfish.
Many anglers target Piper for bait prior to an outing
so here’s an attractive alternative that isn’t so hard
on the resource, and will last all day.

The Piper fly is long and slender, just like the real
thing and even has that distinctive beak.
The big silver eye is the final attractant and has added
to the success of this stunner.

Now you have all seen these colors in Soft Plastics,

FROG LURES
Soft Plastic hits FreshWater!
Wriggly legs, googly eyes, so lifelike in the water.
At 60mm in length these are a must for anglers
fishing streams, rivers and lakes where
frogs muck about and fall in the water.
Simply tie the lure on and fish it erratically round
weed beds and snags.
When cast, leave for a few seconds then retrieve
in short bursts.
Each is fitted with a "weedless" hook allowing the
lure to slip over almost any foul in the waterway.

TROUT MOUSE LURES

where mice and rats breed.

weed beds and snags.
Each is fitted with a "weedless" hook allowing the
lure to slip over almost any foul in the waterway.
Tempting to any Trout in natural Greyish Brown,
these are a must for all freshwater anglers

CRAB LURES

HOT SHOTZ Tackle are still associated with Mister Twister,
the world's original producer of soft plastic lures.

EXUDE scented baits, release an attractant when in the water
alerting the interest of predatory fish.
The Crabs seen here, are just some of many EXUDE baits available.
Never before seen in NZ, these are very lively in the water and are
proven on many species!

Crab Lures are currently available in 5 great fish teasing colours.
At 50mm in size, these are ideal for Snapper, Cod, Gurnard,
Blue Nose, Groper etc.
They can ideally be straylined with a running sinker or simply added to
a ledger or dropper rig.
Slide the hook carefully into the moulded arm and out under the body.
Crab Lures are supplied in single packs ready to fish on 5/0 hooks.
