A party of poachers are heading to the BOP this weekend. I wonder how they'll fare? It's pancakes all day (and night) at the moment.. gurnard water and maybe the odd lemon as well.
Guess I'll just have to wait n see.

The wind was nothing at all,(edit.. soft ssw) but as the temps plummeted that would have sent most (not just the floppycox) off to bed. Chad's story shows he and Lewis did ok.

But no... Absolutely no contact the entire time from any of the visitors. Plan B it is!

A handful of blossoms on the plum tree are now showing, just looking out the kitchen window here.
That means the cherry tree is next. Beauty.
I'm getting a bit happier now knowing the pinks are closer. It also means we've just passed the worst part of winter as well. It truly wasn't as much of a winter as some I've experienced... in fact, by all comparisons, it was pretty damned soft.

That leads me to believe we (BOP) are gonna get an earlier season, probably by a fortnight or so?
Fish Monger-el, you seen whitebait in those guts yet ?
